Shah Rukh Khan birthday special: 7 times King Khan won hearts with his charitable acts

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan has turned a year older on November 2, 2019. The actor who is lovingly called as Badshah or King Khan by his ardent fans is truly worthy of the title. He has come a long way from a modest background to the richest actor in a span of three decades since he marked his Bollywood debut. The King Of Romance has created his own dynasty by immense hard work and sincerity towards his work.

SRK has many qualities that set him apart from others. He respects women. Loves his family shares a great bond with his three children: Aryan, Suhana, and AbRam and wife Gauri Khan. He makes it a point to enjoy all the important days of both his sons and daughter’s life. He also does his best to help the downtrodden. 1. The Saviour:

Once a reporter injured himself after interviewing him. The kind man that he is Shah Rukh Khan ensured that he got proper treatment and even paid as much as Rs. 2 lakhs per day for his well being.

2.  Humanitarian:

 

He has made a special ward in Nanavati Hospital, for cancer and children. This is in memory of his mother who passed away due to cancer.

3.  Benevolent:

SRK is also closely involved with Make a Wish Foundation, which works toward fulfilling the wishes of children all over the country.

4. Philanthropic:

2009, Shah Rukh Khan helped to light up seven Odisha Villages by investing a solar electricity project. After 61 years of independence, the people of these villages in Odisha finally got access to electricity. The villagers were provided with solar lamps for which they had to pay just Rs. 3. A recharging station was set up where they would go and charge their lamps every day.

5. Magnanimous:

Shah Rukh Khan’s team Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) won the Indian Premium League (IPL) season 7. King Khan donated the entire money of Rs. 15 crores to cancer patients in Mumbai and Kolkata.

6. Samaritan:

In 2015, he reportedly donated a sum of Rs. 1 crore for the Chennai flood victims.

7. Compassionate:

He is the only Indian to get an award from UNESCO for his Charity deeds. He was also appointed as the first global ambassador of UNOPS, which works to improve the lifestyle of people.

Shah Rukh Khan also has Meer Foundation to help the acid attack survivors.
