Legendary actor Dilip Kumar passed away on Wednesday morning. His unfortunate demise left the entire Indian cinema in shock. The news was shared by Kumar’s family friend Faisal Farooqui on the veteran actor’s Twitter handle. “With a heavy heart and profound grief, I announce the passing away of our beloved Dilip Saab, few minutes ago. We are from God and to Him we return.”
Many celebrities like Vidya Balan, Anil Kapoor, Dharmendra, Johnny Lever, Anupam Kher, Shabana Azmi, and many more visited the late actor’s residence in Mumbai today.
Now, Shah Rukh Khan who shared a great bond with the late actor and the actor’s wife-actress Saira Banu also arrived that the veteran actor’s Bandra residence. He was seen sitting next to Banu and consoling her in an emotional moment. In the photos, SRK was seen dressed in a white T-shirt and blue denims.

Dilip Kumar considered the actor to be his ‘mooh-bola-beta’ and he often met him. The ‘Don’ actor had even visited him a few years back when Dilip Kumar was unwell.
The late actor will be honored with a state funeral today evening at 5 pm at the Juhu Qabrastan in Santacruz, Mumbai. His mortal remains were taken to his Bandra residence.
Dilip Kumar’s funeral will be accorded a state funeral, CM Uddhav Thackeray tweeted: “Chief Minister Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray has instructed that the funeral of veteran actor Dilip Kumar will be held in a state funeral.”
