Superstar Shah Rukh Khan is all set to come out of his hibernation soon. The Badshah was last seen in Anand L Rai’s ‘Zero’ has reportedly bagged three lucrative projects. He is believed to have signed three big films – Pathan with YRF, a social comedy with Rajkumar Hirani, and a commercial entertainer with South Director Of Theri and Bigil fame Atlee. Reportedly the actor is all set to play a double role in South filmmaker Atlee’s next.
As reported by sources to Mumbai Mirror, “Atlee and Shah Rukh have been discussing a potential collaboration for two years now and have brainstormed on multiple subjects. They have finally fixed on an action film, which has SRK playing an investigating officer of a top Indian agency and a most-wanted criminal. The story revolves around these two characters who are worlds apart, their conflict and confrontation..”
Atlee is currently developing the script with Karan Johar’s team. In the film, Shah Rukh Khan is going to don Police Uniform for the first time in his career.
Shah Rukh Khan will soon start the shoot of YRF’s Pathan. The movie also features Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in pivotal roles. The shoot of Pathan will continue until the second half of 2021. After wrapping it up, SRK will begin Rajkumar Hirani’s next social-comedy and Atlee Kumar’s action-entertainer.
The Raees actor is also in talks with Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK for a quirky action thriller. SRK also has a cameo appearance in Ranbir Kapoor – Alia Bhatt’s next Brahmastra.
