Everyone was shocked when they got to know about Sonali Bendre’s cancer news. She was on the sets of India’s Best Dramebaaz season 3 as the judge and after few days of shoot, Bendre shared about the development of her illness on Social media. Currently, the actress is undergoing treatment in New York. Recently, Vivek Oberoi became emotional on the sets of the show after watching an act of performance which reminded him of Sonali.
A group of contestants performed an act in which contestant Deepali Borkar was playing a role of a cancer patient. The act was based on battling cancer and winning. Everyone on sets were speechless after the performance and couldn’t hold back their emotions. Even Huma Qureshi and Omung Kumar were present on sets as guests who expressed their affection for Sonali. Out of all, the most affected was Vivek who shared that the act reminded him of Sonali, who has been his co-judge since season one. Addressing her as his close friend, he shared how much he misses her. He also urged everyone to pray everyday for her recovery.
Sonali has an evident fan following, that’s why she always keeps them updated about her well-being. In one of her Instagram post she wrote, “There is no better way to tackle this, than to take swift and immediate action. And so, as advised by my doctors, I am currently undergoing a course of treatment in New York. We remain optimistic and I am determined to fight every step of the way.”
