Bollywood handsome hunk, Sonu Sood has come out as one of the real life hero’s during the pandemic Coronavirus lockdown. The actor was seen helping hundreds of migrant and daily wage workers, who suffered due to the extended lockdown. He had helped netizens with travel, food and other facilities. Now he gets appointed as the state icon for Punjab.
The Election Commission has appointed Sonu Sood as the State Icon for Punjab, after the actor contributes greatly during the pandemic COVID-19 crises. The Chief Election Official made the announcement on its Twitter handle. “Sonu Sood, who looked like a real hero to the people, has now been appointed as the Punjab State Icon,” read the tweet post.
The actor belongs to the Moga city of Punjab, probably this could be the reason alongside his Philanthropy, why he has been chosen as the state icon.
On the work fronts, Sonu Sood was last seen in films such as ‘Simmba’ and ‘Devi 2’. The actor is currently gearing up for the release of his Tamil and Telugu projects.
