India’s one of the legendary singer, SP Balasubrahmanyam passed away at the age of 74, apparently the cause of his demise is due to cardiac arrest. Last month he tested positive for the COVID-19 infection and was admitted to the MGM Healthcare in Chennai. Even after testing negative for the infection, he was kept under medical attention for his deteriorated health condition. The music maestro has been laid to rest at his farmhouse in Thiruvallore district in state honours.
According to a report by news agency, ANI, the singer’s mortal remain shifted to his farmhouse last night and the security was also increased to control the traffic. Aravindan, SP Thiruvallore informed the news agency that, “Today, on account of the funeral of SP Balasubrahmanyam, we have made elaborate security arrangements. We have deployed around 500 personnel, separate traffic police team is also there to take care of traffic issues.”
Several celebrities and politicians paid their last respects to the legendary singer.
