Supriya Pilgaonkar extends financial aid to Savita Bajaj to pay hospital bills

‘Nadiya Ke Paar’ actress Savita Bajaj who has worked in numerous TV shows and movies came forward for financial assistance. The actress also shared that she is running out of money and does not even have enough to pay her medical bills after she tested COVID-19 positive 3 months back and was admitted to the hospital for 22 days.

Now, Supriya Pilgaonkar has extended support to help her and will be paying the hospital bills. Actor and CINTAA EC member Nupoor Alankar, who has been looking after Bajaj told Times of India: “Supriya Pilgaonkar has come forward and helped and some committee members of CINTAA too have pitched in so that we can pay some portion of the hospital.”

She also added, “Some media persons landed up at the hospital yesterday which stressed her out so much that she had to be shifted to the ICU.” The actress is on oxygen support but is stable now.

Earlier in 2016, she had received help with rupees one lakh from the association and Rs 50,000 from CINTAA after she was hospitalized due to an accident.

Savita has worked in films such as ‘Beta Ho Toh Aisa’, ‘Nadiya Ke Paar’, ‘Nishant’, ‘Nazrana.’

Apart from Savita Bajaj, many actors including Shagufta Ali and Anaya Soni came out in the open about suffering from financial stress.
