Surekha Sikri’s Condition Is Improving; She Has Been Shifted From The ICU

The National Award-winning actress, Surekha Sikri at the age of 75 suffered from a brain stroke. She was hospitalised in Mumbai and reportedly, she didn’t had enough finances to treat herself. However, her talent agent, Vivek Sidhwani told news agency PTI, that her health condition was ‘critical but stable’ and her family had taken care of her medical treatment.

After being in ICU for few days, the veteran actress is said to have been shifted and her health condition is also improving confirmed her talent manager. According to a recent report by ABP News, she has been shifted to a deluxe room from the ICU after her condition improved. Vivek Sidhwani informed the portal that, “Surekha ma’am’s condition has improved and she is out of danger.”

The veteran actress is best known for performances in films such as ‘Tamas’, ‘Mammo’, ‘Salim Langde Pe Mat Ro’, ‘Zubeidaa’, ‘Badhaai Ho’. She has also been a part of several popular television shows such as ‘Balika Vadhu’.  Most recently she was seen in Netflix’s ‘Ghost Stories’.
