Suriya is keen to act in the biopic of Andhra Pradesh’s newly elected chief minister Jagan Mohan Reddy

Suriya, Sai Pallavi and Rakul Preet Singh starrer political thriller NGK is having a worldwide release on May 31. As per reported by Indiaglitz.com, in a recent interview, the 24 actor said that he is ready to act in the biopic of Andhra Pradesh’s newly elected chief minister YSR Jagan Mohan Reddy. He also said that any writer and director with an interesting script on the young chief minister can ask him. Reddy won 151 of the 176 assembly seats. He had a stellar victory over the Chandrababu Naidu government.

While talking about YSR Rajasekhar Reddy’s death Suriya has said, “Ten years ago, a huge loss struck us all. It’s not an ordinary thing that Jagan anna has secured this huge mandate now. The people are talking about his mandate. He is also the second youngest Chief Minister in the country. I sincerely feel that people will realize the change they want to see through him. I am very happy that Jagan anna has become a successful politician.”

Meanwhile, Jagan Mohan Reddy has today sworn in as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh in a grand ceremony at Vijayawada

Talking about NGK, the movie is directed by Selvaraghavan, and it will be the first ever Tamil movie to be released in South Korea. The music of the film has been composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja while the cinematography is done by Sivakumar Vijayan.

Apart from NGK, Suriya will also be seen in Kaappaan that also has Mohan Lal, Arya, and Sayyeshaa. Directed by K.V. Anand, it is hitting the screens on August 31. He has also started shooting for Soorarai Pottru directed by Sudha Kongara. The movie is based on the life of Captain G.R. Gopinath the founder of Deccan Airways.
