Tamil superstar Suriya known for his intense films is back with a new one now. Yes, the NGK star will be seen in Soorarai Pottru that is touted to be an inspirational true story of the Air Deccan airlines founder and is directed by Sudha Kongara. Today the makers have shared the teaser of the upcoming film and it will leave you impressed.

The teaser brings alive the story of an air force officer named Nedumaaran Rajangam who leaves home with Rs 6000 to start his own airline. It is all about how he overcomes failures and ridicule to achieve his dream. The movie also features Jackie Shroff, Karunas, Paresh Rawal and Mohan Babu in pivotal roles.
The project is bankrolled by Suriya’s banner, 2D Entertainment, and Rajsekar Karpoorasundarapandian, in association with Guneet Monga of Sikhya Entertainment. Soorarai Pottru is expected to hit cinemas this summer.
Suriya’s last two releases, Selvaraghavan’s NGK and KV Anand’s Kaappaan, did not fare well at the box-office. He also has a film with Viswasam fame director Siruthai Siva in the pipeline, which is scheduled to take off next year and will be produced by Studio Green.
‘Soorarai Pottru’ is expected to hit cinemas this summer.
