‘Baahubali’ actress Tamannaah Bhatia has created a record with her recent purchase. the actress has bought a property worth Rs 80,778 per sqft in Versova. This is more than two times the ongoing rate in the area. Bhatia has bought the flat from Sameer Bhojwani along with her mother Rajni Bhatia. The actress will further shell out Rs. 2 crore for the interiors of the flat.
According to documents obtained by DNA, Tamannaah bought the apartment from builder Sameer Bhojwani. Prices for properties barely 500 metres from the Baahubali actor’s new apartment are in the Rs 30000-40000 per square foot range. She has paid Rs. 16.60 crores for a 191 sqft flat. The ready-reckoner rate for the apartment is Rs 4.56 crore she even paid Rs 99.60 lakh as stamp duty for the registration of the flat.
The report further adds that the flat is located on the 14th floor of Bayview building located at Juhu-Versova Link road. The building is 22 storeys high and has a view of the sea from every side of the apartment. She also has got two car parks along with the flat that she purchased. The actor can also have interiors the way she wants in the house.
Tamannaah is not the only Bollywood star to invest in hi-end properties. Recently, actor Aamir Khan shelled out Rs 35 crore on a ‘9,000 square feet of commercial space on SV Road in Santa Cruz West in a building called Prime Plaza‘. Vivek Oberoi too had paid Rs 14 crore for a new bungalow in Juhu, while actor Alia Bhatt recently purchased property in Juhu, also reportedly for twice the going rate, with the intention of making it the office of her new production company.
There has been no response from the public representative of Tamannaah Bhatia as yet.
