Taylor Swift has released her re-recorded 2008 album Fearless. But the pearl in the treasure trove isthe lyric video for “The Best Day (Taylor’s Version). The video showcases the bond that Taylor shared with her mother Andrea. It also has some never-before-seen photos of the singer as a little girl, growing up in Pennsylvania. This is all before she stepped into the spotlight to become a world-famous singer.

The lyric video consists of adorable moments from Swift’s childhood. It is a montage of pictures and home videos from when she was growing up in Pennsylvania. The home videos feature a very young Taylor along with her mother Andrea, her father Scott and her brother Austin.
Taylor Swift has always been quite close to her mother. She had celebrated Mother’s day with a beautiful post as she spoke about her relationship with her mother.
She tweeted, “My conversations with my mom have always been and will always be some of my favourite memories – from when I was 10 months old in this video from Oct. 1990 to now talking every day on the phone.” Tay added, “Our talks are everything to me. Myyyyyy goodness I love you Mom.”
This is not the first time Taylor has paid a tribute to her mother. In the 2019 album Lover, Swift released the emotional ballad “Soon You’ll Get Better” ft. It is reportedly inspired by her mom’s battle with cancer.
In her quest to gain back ownership of her music Swift has started re-recording her old albums.
