Ginny and Georgia: Taylor Swift SLAMS Netflix for ‘deeply sexist joke’

On Monday, March 1, American singer Taylor Swift slammed a Netflix show ‘Ginny and Georgia’ for a ‘deeply sexist joke’ after an episode featured a joke about her past dating life. In the season finale of the comedy series, the character of Ginny Miller asks her mother, “What do you care? You go through men faster than Taylor Swift.” The ‘Shake It Off’ singer took to her Twitter handle and called out at the makers.

The singer shared a screenshot of the dialogue, slamming the makers of the Netflix show, she tweeted as: “Hey Ginny & Georgia, 2010 called and it wants its lazy, deeply sexist joke back. How about we stop degrading hard working women by defining this horse shit as FuNnY. Also, @netflix after Miss Americana this outfit doesn’t look cute on you 💔 Happy Women’s History Month I guess”
