Things you didn’t know about Arvind Kejriwal

Common people across the country rejoiced as Arvind Kejriwal took his seat as the Delhi Chief Minister yesterday. Kejriwal has promised to strip Delhi of its venal corruption and he seems quite up for the task. He already has the powers-that-were shivering in their boots with his promise of clean governance. However, there are many aspects of Kejriwal which people have no clue about. That he’s an IITian who also worked at the IRS before becoming a social activist is well-known, but there’s far more to the man who has shaken the political picture in this country.

He was awarded Raman Magsaysay Award for being an emerging leader in 2006.
Before joining Indian Revenue Service (IRS) he did work with Mother Teresa for 2 month.
When Kejriwal was in Income Tax Department he started a NGO called Parivartan, where he used to help people with their income tax problem and through this movement 800 cases were resolved effectively in 18 months.
He has two children(one boy and one girl), the girl is also an IITian and scored 96% in her 12th boards.
His wife Sunita is also an IRS officer.

Years of being called crazy and dumb never left a mark on him. All that is left is this awesome and chilled out guy who loves writing and painting. He writes with his left hand, but if he reasons practically those who write from their heart, they’d probably be dead. RIGHT? RIGHT. Pun intended. Stay foolish Stay Hungry.
