Blast from the past: A throwback picture of Aishwarya Rai and Salman Khan is viral on the social network. Check it out here.

Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai’s love story might have ended more than a decade ago but even though much water has flown under the bridge their story is still fresh in the minds of their fans. Salman and Aishwarya’s love story had started on the sets of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s romantic drama ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’ and the duo went on to be the most loved jodi of B-Town. They dated for around two years from about 1999 to 2001.

But the romance did not last long as cracks developed in their relation apparently due to the Dabangg Khan’s over-possessive nature and the duo soon parted ways. The couple that was much-in-love once, does not even look at each other now and are both happy in their own world.

Now a picture from the past when the two were a couple has been shared by Salman Khan‘s fan club and it has created a buzz on the social media.

Check out the viral picture here:

In the picture Aishwarya looking pretty in green is seen posing with Salman who is his dashing self in white.

Aishwarya Rai is presently married to Abhishek Bachchan and is a mother of a seven-year-old daughter Aaradhya Bachchan. Salman too has moved on in life and is allegedly in a relation with Iulia Vantur. We do hope that overenthusiastic fans will refrain from digging up the past between them now.

On the work front, Aishwarya Rai after being seen in Fanney Khan will next be seen with husband Abhishek Bachchan in ‘Gulab Jamun’. Salman, on the other hand, is busy with Ali Abbas Zafar’s ‘Bharat’, the period drama also features Katrina Kaif, Nora Fatehi, Disha Patani, Tabu and Jackie Shroff in pivotal roles.
