Former cricketers and fans showered criticism and abuses on Twitter following India’s abject surrender in the second Test inside three days at the iconic Lord’s on Sunday. Tweets were aimed at the current bunch of cricketers after India’s innings and 159-run defeat yesterday which made the scoreline 2-0 in favour of the hosts.  Three more Test matches to follow.

Virender Sehwag, Bishan Singh Bedi and VVS Laxman were among the ones who groaned by the the lack of fight.

Recently, India captain Virat Kohli conceded that team combination was ‘a bit off’ in the second Test against England that India lost on Sunday and urged his struggling batsmen to ‘keep it simple’ in the head to save the ongoing series.
