US Navy Members Sing ‘Yeh Jo Des Hai Tera’. Shah Rukh Khan Reacts

US Navy members singing Shah Rukh Khan‘s popular track Yeh Jo Des Hai Tera from the 2004 film Swades is viral on social media. Music maestro AR Rahman’s popular track was sung by the members at an event organised on March 28. The video of their performance has gone viral on social media. It soon got a response from Shah Rukh Khan and AR Rahman.

Taranjit Singh Sandhu, Ambassador of India to the United States, tweeted the clip. He wrote, “Yeh woh bandhan hai jo kabhi toot nahi sakta. This is a friendship bond that cannot be broken ever. US Navy singing a popular Hindi tune @USNavyCNO ‘s dinner last night!”

“Swades rules for ever,” Rahman said. Shah Rukh Khan also reacted to the viral video and tweeted, SRK wrote, “Thank u for sharing this sir. How lovely. Git all nostalgic about the time spent making this beautiful film and belief sung in the song. Thanx @AshGowariker @RonnieScrewvala @arrahman & everyone who made it possible.”

 

Directed by Ashutosh Gowariker, Swades also starred Gayatri Joshi and Kishori Ballal in supporting roles.
