‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’ Shootings Halted After Varun Dhawan And Neetu Kapoor Tested Positive For Coronavirus?

Anil Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Neetu Kapoor, Kiara and other star cast jetted off to Chandigarh for the shootings of their upcoming flick, ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’. As per the latest reports, Varun Dhawan and Neetu Kapoor including the director have tested positive for the COVID-19 tests. And this is apparently the reason Anil had to come back to Mumbai.

According to a latest report by Mumbai Mirror, Anil already came back to Mumbai and he was also spotted at the airport. On the other side, Kiara Advani will be flying back tonight. The same report states that Varun, Neetu and Raj(director) have been showing mild symptoms of Coronavirus and they have been in kept under isolation in Chandigarh and they have been told to follow all safety protocols. Their diagnosis results has affected the shooting schedule and the makers are expecting to resume it by mid-December. However, the team would now have to take a break of 10-14 days.

A source while talking about the star cast informed the daily, “Varun, Neetu and Raj will take a repeat test and once everyone tests negative and recovers, the shoot will resume, hopefully, by mid-December.”

For the unserved, Anil Kapoor had shared a cryptic post on his Twitter handle and revealed to his about testing negative for COVID-19 infection amidst the viral reports.
