Vijay Deverakonda’s parents want this as gift on his birthday

Vijay Deverakonda has created a niche for himself with movies such as Arjun Reddy, Geetha Govindam, and Dear Comrade. He has gone on to become one of the most loved actors in the Telugu film industry and won the hearts of his many fans across the nation. Vijay is celebrating his 30th birthday and is facing the same situation many single people have to when they turn 30.

In a recent interview with Rajeev Masand, the Arjun Reddy star has revealed that his parents have asked for a special gift from him on his birthday. They have told him that they want to be grandparents.

Vijay Deverakonda gave a very subtle reply to his parents that is quite relatable.

He said, “My parents have mentioned, in passing, that they would like to be grandparents. And, I am like, ‘don’t sacrifice me for your silly joys’. But apparently I’m not a kid anymore.”

He further added, “It’s even more awkward. I’m like what are we doing, why are we talking about marriage and kids. It’s ridiculous. But… marriage is something I want to do. Like, I want to get married. I want to have a family. I need to feel mentally mature enough and prepared for it which I don’t currently. If I let it happen naturally, it might happen when I’m 45 so I have to hurry the process. I need to catalyse it, somehow.”

Vijay was last seen in World Famous Lover, which was directed by Kranthi Madhav. He will next be seen in Puri Jagannadh’s Fighter alongside Ananya Panday.
