On Monday, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma embraced parenthood as they became parents to a baby girl. The news was confirmed by the cricketer on his social media. The duo’s social media exploded with congratulatory posts and everybody is waiting for the first picture of the newborn. Virat’s elder brother Vikas Kohli shared the first picture of the newborn and it has taken the internet by storm.
Vikas shared the photo of his niece’s tiny little feet wrapped in a cozy blanket and he captioned the post, “Happiness overboard …. angel in the house”

Virat announced the birth of his daughter in an Instagram post. He wrote, “We are thrilled to share with you that we have been blessed with a baby girl this afternoon. We thank you all for your love, prayers and good wishes. Anushka and the baby are both healthy and we are feeling beyond blessed to start this new chapter of our lives. We hope that you can respect our privacy at this time. Love, Virat.”
On August 27, 2020, the couple had made the pregnancy announcement via social media posts that broke the Internet and they captioned it as, “And, then we were three! Arriving Jan 2021.”
The duo tied the knot in December 2017 in Tuscany, Italy.
