Kannada superstar Yash is at present gearing for the release of his much-awaited film ‘KGF 2’. The movie has been postponed due to the ongoing COVID-19 lockdown in the country. As we wait for the lockdown to end and Rocky Bhai makes his impressive entry on the big screen. Here is a throwback video of the Rocking Star as a treat for his fans.
Yash who is not only known for his impressive screen presence is also one of the best dancers in Sandalwood. He even left actress Shriya Saran impressed with his groove. Yash and Sriya had come together for a dance number in Roopa Iyer’s film Chandra. But it left the lead star of the film insecure.
During the making of Chandra, director Roopa Iyer thought of casting Yash in a special song. The Rocking Star’s popularity among the youths was on the rise. The filmmaker approached Yash for the song and the Rocking Star agreed. Once the shooting started, Shriya Saran, who is much senior to the Kannada actor, was impressed with his dancing skills and praised him for the same.
The song slowly started gaining popularity and the makers too started promoting the track with posters to attract Yash’s fans. During this phase, an issue between the director and the lead star Prem cropped up and he refused to promote the film. The director in an interview revealed that Prem is insecure over Yash’s song.
Though the star and the director later buried their disagreement. Sadly the movie sank at the box-office but Yash and Shriya Saran’s song went on to be a hit.
