Mohsin Khan and Shivangi Joshi have been making headlines over the speculations of them quitting the show soon. The stars have not officially confirmed anything as yet nor the makers. According to the latest reports, the duo to shoot for last episode in October first week. Reportedly, the makers are planning to introduce a new leap which would keep Naira and Kartik’s children in focus.
According to a few viral reports, Shivangi’s character Sirat will be killed during her labour. On the other side, Kartik would go missing after attending a meeting in the show. Apparently, the makers plan to focus on Kairav, Akshu and Aishwarya’s characters after Shivangi and Mohsin’s exit. Since a long time, the reports started coming out about Mohsin being in talks with the producers for his exit. On the other side, Shivangi is said to have now decided to quit alongside Mohsin. If these reports come out to be true, then the show fans would be disappointed.
As Naira and Kartik, Shivangi Joshi and Mohsin Khan garnered a great fan following. Working for Yeh Rishta, the duo shared the screen space for more than five years now. The plot had started focusing on their pairing post Akshara and Naitik’s exit (Hina Khan and Karan Mehra) from the show. Reportedly, Mohsin and Shivangi will shoot for their last episode on October 8. Official statement on their exit is still awaited.
