Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma have come together after a gap of six years for the Anand L Rai directorial ‘Zero’, the last film that the trio worked together was YRF’s ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’, directed by Yash Chopra.

Shah Rukh Khan is back on the big screen as Bauua Singh and Kudos to the actor for giving such a spellbinding performance of a vertically challenged man.

The story of the movie starts from Meerut where Bauua Singh who is an ardent admirer of actress Babita Kumari(Katrina Kaif) meets a differently abled scientist Aafia Yusufzai (Anushka Sharma) and soon the two fall in love but things take a drastic turn when one fine day Babita Kumari (Katrina Kaif) kisses Bauua Singh.

What happens next is the movie all about.

Shah Rukh Khan has once again proved why he is the Badshah of Bollywood. The actor makes you forget all about SRK and the only person you take home with you is Bauua Singh. Anushka Sharma as a differently abled scientist has given a restrained performance that slowly makes a place in your heart but the scene stealer is Katrina Kaif as an emotionally unbalanced arrogant actress. She has handled the complex character with an ease par excellence.

The supporting cast is perfect and has helped the story to move forward without a hitch. The first half is full of laughter but the second half is a tad slow.

The VFX is worth a mention here as it takes us through the world of differently abled person’s complex life.

All in all the movie is worth a watch and you will fall in love with Bauua Singh, Babita Kumari and Aafia Yusufzai.
