Thugs of Hindustan actors Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan on Thursday responded to Tanushree Dutta’s  allegations against Bollwyood actor Nana Patekar, for sexually assaulting the actress.

Aashiq Banaya Apne actress Tanushree Dutta made an allegation against  Bollywood actor Nana Patekar, saying she was sexually assaulted by Nana Patekar on the sets of the film Horn ‘Ok’ pleassss in 2008. While giving an interview to News 18, Dutta accused Nana Patekar of misbehaving with her both verbally and physically while shooting a dance number for the film.

Thugs of Hindustan actors Aamir khan was asked to give his opinion about the sexual harassment allegations made by Tanushree Duuta against Nana Patekar, in revert he said, “Without knowing the veracity of something, it’s not right for me to comment on it. But whenever something like this does happen, it’s a sad thing. Whether this has happened, that is for people to investigate it.”

Amitabh Bachchan also reacted on the news and said, “Neither my name is Tanushree nor Nana Patekar. So, how can I answer your question?

Tanushree Dutta also accused the film’s choreographer Ganesh Acharya, director Rakesh Sarang and producer Sameer Siddiqui of ganging up against her by witnessing everything but playing the role of mute spectators.

Dutta quoted by News 18 as saying, “I arrived at the venue at around 5’ o clock in the evening. I was a little late and my cameraperson had reached ahead of me. The shoot was taking place at the Famous studio, which I remember this happened 10 years ago. I was a cub reporter, maybe just about one year into journalism at that point. The filmmakers had invited my then-employer to cover all the shots and promised us an interview with Tanushree and Nana Patekar.”

The incident happened during the shoot of a special song and dance number for the film. It was supposed to show accused Nana Patekar and co-actor Muzammil Ibrahim embarking on a road trip. During their course of journey, they had halted at some road-side bar for some refreshment where Tanushree was scheduled to perform.

When Nana Patekar was asked about the allegations made by Tanushree Dutta he laughed off and told Mumbai Mirror, “What can I do about it? You tell me. What does she mean by sexual harassment? There were 50-100 people on set with me [at that time].”

Dutta also urged A-list Bollywood actors Akshay Kumar and Rajinikanth to boycott actors like Nana Patekar in order to bring a change in the tinsel town. Dutta quoted as saying, “Akshay Kumar has made a few films with Nana Patekar in last eight years and Rajinikanth also recently worked with him (in Kaala)… If such big stars will keep working with these culprits then there’s no hope for any movement to happen.”
