Akshay Kumar Takes Metro Ride To Skip Mumbai Traffic, Shares experience

The Mission Mangal star Akshay Kumar, who is currently busy shooting for his upcoming thriller drama ‘Laxmmi Bomb’, was shooting in Ghatkopar on September 18. The star had to get from Ghatkopar to Versova in Mumbai but the traffic on the roads was at its peak. ‘Good News’ director, Raj Mehta and Akshay’s good friend suggested the star to take opt for a metro ride to skip the traffic and save time and the Mission Mangal star agreed.

 

Akshay Kumar not only travelled by metro but also shared his experience and was all praises to the rail service for its efficiency and saving time during peak hours of traffic.

Taking to his Twitter handle, he captioned the video: “My ride for today, the @MumMetro…travelled #LikeABoss from Ghatkopar to Versova beating the peak hours traffic ?”

In the video, Akshay is seen explaining why he chose the metro ride, he also stated that if he was travelling by his car, it would have taken him two hours to reach Versova, Mumbai. The actor was standing in a corner in the crowded train and even showed the crowded metro and mentioned that it’s good that he was not recognised by anyone.

On the work front, Akshay was last seen in ‘Mission Mangal’ and will be seen next with Kareena Kapoor Khan, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani starrer ‘Good Newwz’ that is set to be released on December 27, 2019. The actor also has ‘Housefull 4’, ‘Sooryavanshi’, ‘Laxmmi Bomb’ and ‘Prithiviraj’ among others in his kitty.
