Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos To Step Down From His Position To Become New Executive Chairman

Known as the world’s richest person, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos to quit his position to become the new executive chairman. Andy Jassy is all set to take over as the position of next CEO of Amazon. The brand has made the official announcement on Tuesday and the transition of the positions is slated to take place in the third quarter of this year.

Amazon is in the list of top players among online retail shopping websites.  According to the reports, Amazon’s net worth rose to $124.56 billion after the consumers used its retail site for shopping purpose. For a long time Andy Jassy, who is 53-year-old has been the estimated potential successor of Bezos’ position.

Bezos is the one who founded Amazon around 30-years-back. The site was launched as an online bookstore and built it into a shopping site. The CEO worked hard for three decades and now he is all set to become the Executive Chairman.
