On Monday (November 9), Arjun Rampal’s home was raided by NCB officials. The raid took place a day after a raid carried out at producer Firoz Nadiadwala’s residence. The NCB officials recovered medicines that fall under the NDPS Act from the actor’s house. Arjun and his Girlfriend have been summoned in relation to the alleged drugs case.
Recently, Gabriella’s brother Agisilaos was taken under NCB custody after allegedly seizing alprazolam tablets and hashish from his house.
ANI confirmed the development as it tweeted, “Mumbai: Actor Arjun Rampal’s girlfriend Gabriella Demetriades summoned by Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on 11th November. NCB conducted raid at the premises of Arjun Rampal today & summoned him on 11th November to join the investigation, in connection with a drug-related case.”
Today Gabriella Demetriades was spotted leaving for the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) office along with her lawyer.
Earlier, Bollywood producer Feroz Nadiadwala’s wife, Shabana Saeed, was arrested after a raid was conducted at their home. Shabana Saeed was later released on bail. The NCB also took Rampal’s driver in custody along with electronic gadgets.
The NCB is probing the drug angle in actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case. Several Bollywood celebrities such as, Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh, Deepika Padukone and Shraddha Kapoor were also questioned by the agency. Rhea Chakraborty was arrested but is out on bail.
