Napoli striker Arkadiusz Milik was robbed at gunpoint on his way home following his team’s 1-0 Champions League Group C victory over Liverpool, reported Naples based newspaper II Mattino on Thursday.
The Polish striker, who had started in the home victory over Liverpool, was driving through the Varcaturo region of Naples, when two men in a motorbike forced him to stop, added the report.
One of them pointed a gun at Milik and forced him hand over his Rolex watch. It was reported that after being handed over the costly watch, the two assailants fled the scene, while Milik filed a complaint with the nearest police station.
The police weren’t available for a comment when Reuters tired to reach them for a comment. But no arrests have been made as yet.

It is, however, not the first time a Napoli player has been held at gunpoint.
Two years ago club forward Lorenzo Insigne, who scored the last-minute winner against Liverpool on Wednesday, was similarly robbed when he driving home with his wife.
Meanwhile, club captain Marek Hamsik was robbed in 2013, while his wife faced the similar circumstances two years prior to his incident.
