Bappi Lahiri or Bappi Da as he is lovingly known is celebrating his 66th birthday on November 27, 2018. The man earned fame by integrating unique disco beats in Bollywood songs that went on to be a craze in the 80’s and 90’s has created an enviable niche for himself in Bollywood.
Born to two legendary singers Aparesh Lahiri and Bansari Lahiri, Bappi da has set a mark for the music composers of the industry to create a number of sensational tracks. He has also created a Guinness Book of World Records for recording over 180 songs for 33 films in 1986. His love for Gold that he considers lucky for himself has earned him the name of the Gold Man of Bollywood.
