As the year 2019 comes to an end, Netflix is adding a host of movies and TV shows to its streaming platform. This means the binge-watchers will have to bid farewell to some seasons and TV shows of the streaming service and once again, it’s a top-heavy selection with more than a few genuine gems.
The reason is that Netflix does not own all the video it streams. The deals it has with networks, production companies, and movie studios which means that the content comes and, goes, with startling regularity. Unfortunately, that means they are also taking some titles away, including every season of Friends! That’s probably the biggest bombshell of the month, but Friends is just one of several titles leaving Netflix in January.
