Shah Rukh Khan‘s second Netflix original show is a horror series titled Betaal. Patrick Graham, along with Nikhil Mahajan have directed it. The series features Vineet Kumar and Ahana Kumra in pivotal roles. Today, the makers of Betaal dropped the first look of the horror thriller. Alongside a photo featuring Viineet Kumar and Aahana Kumra.
Sharing the first look SRK’s Red Chillies wrote, “Here’s 1st look of #Betaal, our upcoming horror-thriller web series, starring @ItsViineetKumar @AahanaKumra & directed by #PatrickGraham….”

The first look showcases Viineet giving an intense look while Ahana poses with a gun in the backdrop.
An earlier report had spoken about Betaal as, “A remote village becomes the theatre of a breathless battle when a two-century-old Betaal, a British Indian Army officer, and his battalion of zombie redcoats are unleashed. With Indian police pitted against the undead army, hapless villagers are trapped in a horrific, edge-of-your-seat conflict.”
Betaal was originally announced in July last year, as one of five new series. It will be the fifth original series from India in 2020. Betaal is written and directed by Patrick Graham — he had also helmed Netflix’s “Ghoul” starring Radhika Apte. Co-directed by Nikhil Mahajan.
The series also features, Jitendra Joshi, Siddharth Menon, Manjiri Pupala, Syna Anand and Suchitra Pillai. The horror thriller will premiere on May 24, 2020.
