Bigg Boss Telugu: Journalist Accused Organisers Of Demanding Sexual Favours

The makers of Bigg Boss Telugu seem to have landed in trouble as a Hyderabad based woman journalist alleged that the organisers had asked for a sexual favour in return of being selected for the final round of Bigg Boss Telugu season 3. Notably, the woman journalist who was nominated for the celebrity reality show has filed a complaint against four members of the show at the Banjara Hills Police station.

According to reports, Police have registered the cases under Section 354 (Assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) against the organisers of Bigg Boss Telugu. While speaking to the news agency, ANI, senior police official KS Rao, Banjara Hills division confirmed that they have filed a case against the four members of the show.

“We received a complaint on July 13 afternoon from a senior journalist and anchor stating that in March, she received a call from Bigg Boss Telugu stating that she has been selected for its third season which will begin on July 21,” Mr Rao told ANI.

“She accepted the offer and met four members of the reality show. As per the statement, during the meeting, those four members misbehaved with her and asked her to satisfy their boss for the final selection for the show,” he added.

The police officer said that the victim has claimed that she was body shamed by all the accused during their meeting. In her complaint, she stated that organisers of Bigg Boss Telugu did not give her any agreement and asked her how she is going to satisfy the boss.

The third season of ‘Big Boss Telugu’ is scheduled to begin from July 21.
