Vijay’s Bigil Song Singa Penne Leaked Online Before Its Official Launch

Days after the makers of the film Bigil made an announcement that actor Vijay would turn singer for award-winning music composer A.R. Rahman, the song titled Verithanam has been leaked before its official launch. As soon as the Bigil’s song leaked online, a hashtag #Bigil started trending on Twitter.

In the #Bigil hashtag, fans of actor and music composer shared an audio clip of the leaked song while others have asked people to not to sabotage the album before its official release. Despite having tight security on the sets in Chennai, Bigil’s song Singa Penne sung by A.R. Rahman has made its way on the internet.

The song in question has been crooned by AR Rahman himself and has lyrics written by Vivek. According to reports, the leaked song is a motivational track on the lines of Ella Pugazhum Oruvanuke (Azhagiya Tamizh Magan) and Aalaporan Tamizhan (Mersal).

The song is said to be recorded in Chennai on Tuesday in the presence of Vijay, Nayanthara and Atlee. The makers of the film have not yet responded to the controversy. The ardent fans of Vijay and A.R. Rahman seem to have liked the song and they must have added it to their playlist.

It still remains if the official version of Singa Penne will now officially be released or not by the production team.

Talking about the film, Vijay and Nayanthara are currently shooting for Bigil in Chennai. The film is based on Women’s football. Vijay will play two roles in the film while Nayanthara is tipped to be playing the role of a physiotherapy student.

Directed by Atlee and produced by Kalpathi S, Bigil will hit the theatre on Diwali this year. The sports-drama features Vijay, Nayanthara, Jackie Shroff, Vivekh, Indhuja Ravichandran, Varsha Bollamma and Yogi Babu in significant roles.
