Boney Kapoor’s house help tests positive for coronavirus, says, ‘all are fine’

Bollywood producer Boney Kapoor’s house help named Charan Sahu who is 23-years-old has been tested positive for coronavirus today, the producer lives with his daughters Janhvi and Khushi at the Green Acres, Lokhandwala Complex, Mumbai.

Talking about the same, a source in Hindustan Times stated, “He (Charan Sahu) was unwell on May 16, Saturday evening and senior Kapoor immediately sent him for tests and later kept him in isolation. After receiving the test report, he informed the society admin and later BMC as well. After which, BMC and state govt authorities started the process of getting Charan into a quarantine center.”

Further, Boney Kapoor issued a statement, which was shared by Janhvi Kapoor on her Instagram handle. The statement read as, “My children, our other staff at home and I, are all fine and none of us are showing symptoms. In fact, we haven’t left our home since the lockdown started. All of us will be in self-quarantine for the next 14 days. We shall be diligently following the instructions and advice given to us by the BMC as well as their medical team. We are thankful to the Government of Maharashtra and the BMC for their swift response.

Boney also told Times of India, “Yes, the house help was tested positive and we are taking all the precautionary measures though myself, my children and the other staff at home, none of us are showing any symptoms as of now. BMC and the government authorities have been prompt and very helpful. We will do as told by them.”
