Stray cow attacks BJP MP Liladhar Vaghela, 2 ribs broken, admitted to ICU

BJP Lok Sabha MP Liladhar Vaghela was out for a walk when a stray cow attacked him outside his residence in Sector 21, Gandhinagar

Liladhar Vaghela, BJP MP, was attacked by a stray cow outside his residence. He had to be admitted to ICU with severe injuries and rapture ribs.

83-year-old Vaghela is a Lok Sabha MP from Patan, Gujarat. On Friday, as usual he was out for a stroll when the stray cow attacked him just outside his residence in Sector 21, Gandhinagar.

The assault was so severe that the octogenarian MP was almost mowed to the ground. Seeing this, passerbys came to his rescue and immediately took him to the Apollo hospital. He was then admitted in the ICU, after initial examination.  Preliminary examination revealed that he sustained injuries on his head and ribs.  As his condition is quite critical, the doctors have kept him in the ICU for further observation.

However, according the local media in Gandhinagar, it is confirmed by Vaghela’s family members that the clotting in the head is removed.

Vaghela, served as a minister of Gujarat, prior to being elected to the Lok Sabha.
