Is David Headley, 26/11 attack convict missing?

The US and Indian authorities both refused to say anything on the reports which says Headley was attacked on July 8 by two inmates inside the facility

According to one news report which claimed that Headley was attacked on July 8 by two inmates inside the facility and was rushed to North Evanston hospital. The report said that he was suffering serious injuries and was admitted to the critical care unit.

Moreover, the US and Indian authorities both refused to say anything on the reports, being quoted as “we are not able to locate information about this individual”.

His lawyer confirmed that the Pakistani-American terrorist is neither in Chicago nor in a hospital. The inmates inside a US detention centre attacked him earlier this month.

The lawyer also refused to disclose his location, claiming that he is in regular communication with Mr Headley. Surprisingly when the incident happened there were no reports in the Indian press.

Before 26/11 attacks David Headley reconnoitered various Indian cities. The US court has sentenced him to 35 years in prison for the 2008 terrorist attack on Mumbai in which more than 160 people were killed.
