Deepika Padukone & Himesh Reshammiya recreate Naam Hai Tera Tera song

Deepika Padukone is at present busy with the promotions of her upcoming release ‘Chhapaak’ on all major platforms. Recently she was seen on Indian Idol 11 where the ‘Padmaavat’ star recreated her hit debut song ‘Naam Hai Tera Tera’ with Himesh Reshammiya. Not many know that Deepika Padukone had got her first break in Himesh Reshammiya’s music video ‘Naam Hai Tere Tera’. It is from this song that she got her first film ‘Om Shanti Om’ opposite Shah Rukh Khan.

Deepika met Himesh on the popular reality show and thanked him for her first break. Deepika admitted it was only after ‘Naam Hai Tera Tera’ that Shah Rukh Khan and Farah Khan noticed her and cast her for ‘Om Shanti Om’. She even recreated the popular number with Himesh Reshammiya.

Himesh praising Deepika Padukone said that though he has launched many girls there’s only one Deepika, so the credit goes entirely to her hard work and dedication and not him at all.

Deepika Padukone is one of the most popular Bollywood celebrities who has won fans with her performance in Hollywood flick too. Recently, Forbes India compiled a list of Top 100 celebrities with Bollywood personalities and Deepika made it to the top 10.

On the work front, she will soon be seen in Meghna Gulzar directorial ‘Chhapaak. The movie is all about acid attack survivor Laxmi. Also featuring Vikrant Massey the movie is all set to release on January 10, 2020. She will also be seen in Ranveer Singh starrer ’83’ Deepika has recently been roped in to play the role of Draupadi in Madhu Mantena’s film ‘Mahabharat’, the first part of which is slated to release in 2021.
