Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone will be turning 34 on January 5, 2020, and is currently gearing up for her upcoming movie Chhapaak which is based on the life of an acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal. The film is scheduled to release on January 10. This time around the Padmaavat actress will be celebrating her special day in a unique way. It has a Chhapaak touch to it.
Talking about the same, a source told Mumbai Mirror, “She is traveling to Lucknow to celebrate the day at a cafe run by acid attack survivors. Besides the eatery’s staff, acid attack survivors from neighboring cities will also be a part of the celebrations. Deepika will leave for Delhi later in the day to resume the promotional rounds of Chhapaak.”
Apart from the actress, the actor Vikrant Massey will be seen as Amol who plays the role of Malti’s partner in the film. Directed by Meghna Gulzar, Produced by Fox Star Studios, Deepika Padukone, Govind Singh Sandhu, and Meghna Gulzar, written by Atika Chohan and Meghna Gulzar. The movie is close to Deepika’s heart as it marks her foray into production under her banner KA Entertainment.
Deepika Padukone’s Chhapaak will be releasing alongside Om Raut’s Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior. Co-starring Ajay Devgn, Kajol, and Saif Ali Khan, the period drama is based on the life of Tanaji Malusare.
Chhapaak is set to hit theatres on 10th January 2020.

Apart from Chhapaak, the Piku actor will also be seen sharing screen space with her husband Ranveer Singh in Kabir Khan’s 83. This will their first collaboration post-marriage.
