It is a double bonanza for Dev Patel fans as after the trailer of ‘The Personal History Of David Copperfield’ we now get to see him as a medieval knight. A24 has released a teaser trailer for ‘The Green Knight’ featuring Dev Patel. The upcoming epic fantasy adventure film from director David Lowery is all about Sir Gawain, a member of King Arthur’s Knights of the Round Table, whose virtue, honor and bravery is tested by one of Arthurian mythology’s best-known and most mysterious figures.

The period drama set in the bygone era is an adaptation of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight. In the teaser we see, Dev Patel’s character taking on the villain in a fierce battle. The lead character played by Dev is ready with a sword to lock horns with a gigantic green-skinned evil who wants to ruin the surroundings.
Also starring Oscar winner Alicia Vikander, Joel Edgerton, Sarita Choudhury, Sean Harris, Kate Dickie and Ineson the film will hit the theaters on May 29.
