Sandalwood star Dhruva Sarja has revealed that he is currently hospitalized as he and his wife have tested positive for COVID-19. While this is a blow to fans of the star, he has assured that both he and his wife Prerna are doing well. Meanwhile, he has requested those who were in close proximity to take care and get themselves tested if necessary. Dhruva Sarja and Prerana are currently hospitalized.
In his tweet, Dhruva wrote, “My wife and I have both been tested positive for COVID-19 with mild symptoms and hence chosen to get ourselves hospitalised. I’m sure we’ll be back all fine! All those who were in close proximity with us please get yourselves tested and remain safe.”
Dhruva suffered a great personal loss recently when his elder brother Chiranjeevi Sarja passed away due to a cardiac arrest. His demise left the southern film industry in shock.
The news of Dhruva and his wife testing positive for COVID-19 have got their friends and fans worried about their health. They have been wishing the couple a speedy recovery alongside their hopes that the two will emerge from the ordeal fine. Moreover, many actors from the industry also wished the couple their best and hoped they will be better soon.
Dhruva is currently awaiting the release of his upcoming film Pogaru. This film will see him work with Nandakishore for the first time. The action entertainer has two songs that are still to be filmed.
