The popular land deal case in Bikaner of Rajasthan involving Sonia Gandhi’s son-in-law Robert Vadra is once again in the headlines. Notably, Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Friday summoned Robert Vadra in the land deal case.

In a tweet, the news agency ANI said, “Enforcement Directorate has summoned Robert Vadra in the land deal case. More details awaited.”

Earlier, the Enforcement Directorate had seized properties worth Rs 65 lakh this time, of around a dozen buyers and Dauphin Developers. Around ten years ago, the displaced people from MFFR land were allotted land in Gajner and Kolayat. But, the then officials did not allot the land to the right people. The corruption led to the same land being purchased by Vadra’s companies at cheap prices.

Due to the case being high-profile, the investigation was given to the ED. After that, 18 FIRs were registered in Bikaner’s Gajner and Kolayat regarding the matter and many accused were also arrested.
