Delhi: Fashion designer Mala Lakhani and her servant found murdered. The fashion designer identified as Mala Lakhani, was found dead in her bedroom.

A 53-year-old fashion designer and her 50-year-old household were found murdered at her plush Vasant Kunj Enclave home in South Delhi on Thursday morning. According to reports, police have detained three people suspected to be involved in the murder.

The incident of killing came to light at around 3 am when her neighbours reported an argument. The fashion designer identified as Mala Lakhani was found dead in her bedroom and the body of her servant was found in the living room of the A-block flat, police have found Seven injury marks were on Lakhani’s body.

The dead bodies of fashion designer and her servant have been sent for autopsy to ascertain the exact reason of the murder. Police suspect a robbery to be the reason behind the fashion designer murder.

“It was a friendly entry. Primary investigation suggests robbery as the house items were found scattered,” a police officer Ajay Chaudhary quoted by NDTV as saying.

Last month, The Bangur Nagar police found the body of a 20-year-old model named Mansi Dixit in suburban Malad, Mumbai.

After finding the body which was stuffed in a travelling bag, the Bangur Nagar police took a swift action and arrested a 19-year-old fellow student Sayyad Muzammil within 3 hours with the help of CCTV. According to the police, the accused and victim knew each other but the reason for killing is yet to be ascertained.
