Fire in the AP Superfast Express in Gwalior

Two coaches of Visakhapatnam-H Nizamuddin22416 AC SF Express train caught fire near Birla Nagar railway station in Gwalior district of Madhya Pradesh on Monday afternoon.

The train was stopped 2kms before the station as rescue operation took place. No injuries were reported as of now.

The fire was reported in B6 and B7 coaches of the train. N life harm has been reported as of now.

NCR’s Senior Divisional Safety Officer Bhim Raj Dhanna rushed to the spot from Jhansi to conduct an inspection.

“I am inspecting the spot right now. I cannot comment on the cause of the fire,” he told PTI over the phone.
