A major fire broke out in a mobile shop near Ghatkopar (West) Railway station on Friday afternoon. According to reports no casualty or injuries were reported in Ghatkopar fire incident. As soon as the news broke out, four fire engines and ambulances were rushed to the spot. The fire erupted around 3 pm.
According to DNA, the fire near Ghatkopar station broke out due to short circuit but it was brought under control in a few minutes. A user on Twitter posted a video of the gutted mobile shop. In the video, a huge crowd can be seen busy recording video of the incident while the smoke coming out from the mobile shop.
In another video, firemen can be seen making efforts to douse the fire.
