There is good news for GI Joe fans, the spinoff of the popular drama will soon hit the screens. The cherry on the cake is that the new spinoff will also feature the character of Chuckles, which was introduced in Marvel Comics. G.I. Joe w is based on the popular classic toy line. We first saw their characters on the big screen in 2009 with the film G.I. Joe: The Rise of The Cobra. Then four years later in 2013 in the sequel G.I. Joe: Retaliation.
Chuckles speciality is undercover and infiltration work. He has not previously appeared in any of the Joe films.
As reported by a source to Hollywood Reporter, The writers Josh Appelbaum and André Nemec who are known for the film ‘Mission: Impossible’-‘Ghost Protocol’, have been brought on board for a GI Joe spinoff. They are introducing the character of Chuckles. It is further revealed that lthough he is not said to be the center of the film, the project is in deep development and it’s possible that things could change.
Chuckles is a confident, good guy with a strong personal code that favors the mission first and always — and he’s willing to play the long con game, especially with Cobra, to win the trust and unearth nefarious plans. The fans are very excited about this spinoff film and are looking forward to its release.
Tentatively GI Joe spinoff will hit the screens on October 2020.
