Haryana: Mob lynching rears its ugly head, man killed for alleged cattle-theft, by three brothers. Three others are said to have gone missing

A man was killed last night by a mob on suspicion of stealing cattle in Haryana’s Palwal district, about 80 kilometres from Delhi.

The man’s hands and legs were tied and he was thrashed by three men in Bahrola village in Palwal, according to the police. The men who beat up the man accused him of trying to steal their cattle along with two others who fled from the spot.

According to NDTV, the police has sent the body for postmortem and filed a case against the three brothers for the killing.
