Indian Athlete Milkha Singh Tests Positive For Coronavirus

Renowned Indian athlete Milkha Singh has tested positive for Coronavirus. On Wednesday i.e May 20, his test results came out to be positive. His wife, Nirmal Kaur reveals to the media outlets that his condition is currently stable and he has already started seeking medical care. The athlete is said to have quarantine himself in Chandigarh.

According to a report by India Today, his wife informed him, “One of our house help tested positive a few days ago. So we went to get ourselves tested. He had a high fever last evening, but he has not lost his taste or smell.” The athlete on the side is said to be quite sporty in these challenging times and he apparently stated that he is fit and fine.

The 91-year-old, Milkha Singh is also popularly known as The Flying Sikh. He is a five-time Asian Games gold medallist and one of his greatest performances includes his fourth-place finish in the 400m final in the 1960 Olympics. We the team of The Live Mirror wish for his speedy recovery.

For the unversed, India reported around 2,76,070 fresh Coronavirus cases, 3,69,077 discharges and 3,874 deaths in the span of the last 24 hrs-according to the data issued by the Health Ministry.
