One more Bollywood couple has called it quits. Yes, looks like after Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal and many more actors who have separated from their partners. This time around it is Dhadak stars Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter. The duo who had worked together in Karan Johar‘s hit flick have apparently called it quits.
Janhvi had marked her Bollywood debut in Dharma Productions Dhadak opposite Ishaan Khatter. The actors were seen bonding on the sets and promotions of the film that was a remake of hit Marathi movie Sairat. The onscreen romance continued even after the release of the movie. Though the two never acknowledged their relationship, rumors of the two dating gained strength when they were spotted attending events, going for movie dates and even dinner outings.
However, rumors about their break-up spread like wildfire when the actress ignored her rumored beau during a big event.
As reported by a source to Deccan Chronicle, Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter have called it quits. The reason being purely professional that they have to focus on their careers rather than on love.
The source further added, “Just two young ambitious people who need to focus on their careers rather than on love. That’s it. Ishaan’s attention was getting too much for Janhvi. It was okay for him to hang around her when they were promoting Dhadak, but when Janhvi was promoting Ghost Stories, Ishaan would land up at the venue, embarrassing the hell out of Janhvi.”
It is apparently Janhvi who ended the relationship.
On the work front, Janhvi will be seen in ‘Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl’. ‘Dostana 2’ with Kartik Aaryan, ‘Roohi Afza’ with Rajkummar Rao and Karan Johar’s magnum opus ‘Takht’. Ishaan Khatter will be seen romancing Ananya Panday in ‘Khaali Peeli’.
