Sushant Singh Rajput’s unfortunate death has left everyone in a state of deep shock. The 34-year-old actor hanged himself to death at his Bandra home in Mumbai. The reason for his drastic step is not known as yet. Fans, friends, and family soon filled social media with tributes for the late actor.
WWE superstar John Cena too shared a heartfelt tribute for the ‘Raabta’ star. He took to his Instagram handle and posted a monochrome picture of Sushant.
The Bollywood actor’s fans thanked the ‘Fast & Furious 9’ star for the heartfelt tribute. This is not the first time Cena has shared a picture of the MS Dhoni star. The wrestler had also posted a picture of Sushant Singh in September 2019, SSR fans were shocked and yet delighted to see John randomly share their idol’s picture.
Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide by hanging in his Bandra home. DCP Pranay Ashok of the Mumbai Police confirmed that the late actor had committed suicide and that no note was found, while the investigation was still ongoing.
The actor’s funeral is to take place today. His family members have already arrived from Patna and are preparing for his last rites.
Sushant had started his journey in the field of entertainment from the small screen. He garnered immense fame from popular series Pavitra Rishta. The actor marked his Bollywood debut with ‘Kai Po Che’ and went on to do some remarkable work in ‘MS Dhoni biopic’, ‘Kedarnath’, ‘Detective Byomkesh Bakshi’, ‘Rabta’, ‘Shuddh Desi Romance’ and ‘Chichhore’.
