Out of all the characters Kareena Kapoor Khan has played in Bollywood, the only role that stays with all of us to date is Poo aka Pooja from ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.’ Now, the actress spoke in detail about her role and she also revealed that she felt stupid playing those scenes.
Talking to with Haroon Rashid from BBC Asia Network, the Jab We Met actress spoke about her role and stated, “It’s so strange that after 20 years, it’s still coming back in a way, in 2020, because- as you said- it’s pop culture. It’s a character that somehow, I don’t know how it just connected with the youth then and it connects with the youth now. If I really can say, actresses will always do different kinds of parts but you’ve never seen a character like Poo. You’ve never seen somebody who is so blasé and just speaks her mind.”

On asked if she felt ‘stupid’ back in time during the shoot, the 39-year-old actress replied, “Yeah, I was like, Karan what are you making me do?”
Meanwhile, on the work front, the actress will be seen next in Karan Johar‘s action period drama, ‘Takht’ with Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Bhumi Pednekar, Vicky Kaushal and Janhvi Kapoor. Apart from this, the 39-year-old-actress will also be a part of ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ with Aamir Khan.
